Women’s History Month is a time to honor the achievements, leadership, and impact of women across industries. As the first association dedicated to supporting women in the canmaking industry, WICA takes pride in recognizing those who have paved the way and inspired the next generation of leaders. We’ll kick off our event by celebrating these trailblazing women, then transition into our main program focused on understanding and overcoming imposter syndrome.

    About the Program
In the canmaking industry, many talented women experience imposter syndrome—the feeling that they don’t fully belong or that their success isn’t earned. This session explores why imposter syndrome often shows up more strongly for women in male-dominated industries and how identity and belonging shape leadership confidence.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of imposter syndrome and learn practical strategies to challenge self-doubt, recognize their expertise, and confidently own their impact as leaders.
